Heating healthy: Sharp launches the 3-in-1 steam oven for the smart kitchen

With the new Steamwave from Sharp, there are no limits to culinary creativity. The preprogrammed automatic settings help the health-conscious mother, demanding professional or busy student to prepare varied meals and healthy menus quickly and easily. By cooking foods using the less destructive steaming method, a large proportion of the vitamins, nutrients and natural tastes are preserved.

Instead, our steamer rekindles the fun of imaginative and creative cooking for anyone who needs to balance healthy eating, a busy lifestyle and precious little time,” continues Moresmau.

As an authentic steamer, the Steamwave from Sharp generates pure steam without the aid of microwave energy – thereby preserving all the benefits of steaming. In addition, users can select between two steamer temperature ranges (high and low), so that even extremely delicate foods can be steamed without losing their goodness. With the built-in removable water tank, no external water supply is required, so that Steamwave can be used flexibly at any time.
Simply mouth-watering: the innovative Sharp steamer both makes life easier and satisfies all the requirements of the modern kitchen. With its 860-watt steam generator, 900-watt microwave power and 1050-watt infrared grill, Steamwave can rise to any challenge. The generous 27-litre stainless steel oven(1) is able to cook both individual meals and complete menus on two levels. In addition to 15 preprogrammed steaming and 3 steam-thawing settings, the oven has additional automatic programs for thawing and grilling different foods.
